New Monthly Tradition: ‘Feet Up Friday’ is here to stay!
After a fantastic turnout for our trial run on 3rd April, we are thrilled to announce that ‘Feet Up Friday’ is officially joining our regular calendar!
Starting from May, you can kick off your weekend without the stress of cooking or cleaning. We’ll be gathering on the first Friday of every month to celebrate our community and enjoy a well-earned break.
The Game Plan
- The Bar: Opens at 5:00 pm. Pop in for a refreshing pint, a glass of wine, or a soft drink to toast the start of the weekend.
- The Food: No need to meal prep! We will have a food van stationed in the car park serving up delicious hot meals.
- The Venue:
- The Village Hall: This will be the hub for the youngsters (and the young at heart!). We’ll have entertainment provided to keep the kids busy while parents catch up.
- The Witch & Wren bar: For those looking for a slightly different atmosphere, the W&W will be open and welcoming anyone who wants to enjoy their takeaway meals indoors.
Why ‘Feet Up’?
The goal is simple: no washing up, no “what’s for dinner?” debates, and plenty of good company. Whether you’re coming straight from work or school, it’s the perfect way to wind down and support your local village facilities.
Save the Date: Our next session is Friday 5th June from 5pm until 8pm. This time with Surfing Sombrero – Californian Burritos.
We can’t wait to see you all there for another successful evening!
