Please note from Monday 20th July the B1135 will be closed from Bridge Road to Hethel Engineering for about 10 weeks.
Following a meeting with Jacksons, Highways, District Councillors and the Parish Council we expressed our serious concerns over yet another rat run through Wreningham. As it stands the initial plan stays as per the below with the only road closure into Wreningham being Hethel Road.
Bridge road will be manned with access only for Wreningham residents from Monday. We have raised concerns over how this can be enforced but have been assured that Jacksons and Highways that it will! On entry into Bridge Road the person manning the road will give Wreningham residents a pass to keep displayed in your car.
We have had assurances that, if this doesn’t prevent a rat run through Wreningham, then a road closure on Wymondham Road would be considered and implemented as an emergency measure, but like last time we need your help.
