Wreningham Village Hall Kitchen Gets a Makeover Thanks to National Lottery Grant!
We’re thrilled to announce that Wreningham Village Hall has been awarded a fantastic grant of £15,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund! This vital funding will enable us to completely refurbish our tired and outdated kitchen, making it a more functional and inviting space for the whole community.
For many years, the Wreningham Village Hall kitchen has served as the heart of countless community events, from coffee mornings and social gatherings to birthday parties and drama productions. However, years of wear and tear have taken their toll and the current kitchen has seen better days!
Thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund, we can now look forward to a modern and well-equipped kitchen that will meet the needs of all our users. The new kitchen will boast:
- Upgraded appliances, including a new oven, hob and refrigerator.
- Improved storage solutions to make the most of the space
- Modern work surfaces for easier & hygienic food preparation
- A fresh and contemporary look
We are incredibly grateful to the National Lottery Community Fund for their generous support. This grant will make a real difference to the Wreningham community, providing a welcoming and functional space for everyone to enjoy.
Together, we can make Wreningham Village Hall an even more vibrant and valuable asset to our community.
Plans are well underway and the installation is due to start on Monday 17th June. Obviously the kitchen will not be available while the installation is in progress, but we hope it will be ready for use by the end of June/early July 2024.
